Fifa World Cup Brazil 2014 Tickets

Brazil World Cup 2014 tickets are not yet on sale.

It is envisaged that a similar system will be put in place as with the 2010 South Africa world cup ticket sales.

Sepp Blatter, the FIFA president, has said that hosts Brazil will be allowed to stage the tournament in 12 cities rather than the 10 previously mentioned.

Initially, FIFA had wanted to stage the tournament in only 10 cities as they believed that having fewer venues would make for easier logistics. However, after having a meeting with Sao Paulo state governer Jose Serra, Blatter announced they have increased the number of cities to 12.

The current list of cadidates are:

Porto Alegre, Florianopolis, Curitiba, Rio de Janeiro, Belo Horizonte, Brasilia, Goiania, Campo Grande, Cuiaba, Rio Branco, Manaus, Belem, Salvador, Recife, Natal, Fortaleza and Sao Paulo.

It will be possible to buy tickets for all these matches.

It is believed that the opening match will be hosted in Sao Paulo and the final in Rio de Janeiro.
